Care Navigators Ltd was registered in England and Wales with Companies House in July 2021, company number 13513053. It supports the Care Adviser Network, formed in 2011 and registered with Companies House in Sept 2015 with a social enterprise statement as a limited (by Guarantee) company in England and Wales. Company Number 9757905
We aim to promote a standard for those who give information and advice on choosing and paying for adult care and provide advice and support services to help people choose appropriate, affordable care and make informed decisions for care planning.

Access to information

Who has access to data?
The Care Adviser Network management and administration have access to the data on the Care Adviser website. We strive to provide up to date, accurate information and services with reasonable care and skill and update the Care Navigator website regularly to enhance user support and experience.
3rd party contractors may be
employed from time to time to provide services to the Care Adviser Network.
These services will be with the intended purpose to improve the Care Adviser
website, such as upgrades and improvements, and to provide services (such as security
audits and security improvements). Your personal data will not be shared with 3rd
party contractors or employees other than in the day to day operation and
evaluation of the web system and changes/improvements and service maintenance
(such as testing and evaluation of the Care Navigator website).
Your rights as a data subject
At any point while we are in possession of or processing your personal data, you, the data subject, have the following rights:
- Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
- Right of rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.

- Right to judicial review: in the event that care adviser refuses your request under rights of access, we will provide you with a reason as to why. You have the right to complain as outlined the section below.
You may be provided with a password for access and we ask that you keep this confidential and not share it with anyone else
Beyond our control
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site. Any transmission is at your own risk.
We may gather information about your general internet use by using the cookie. Where used, these cookies are downloaded to your computer and stored on the computer’s hard drive. Such information will not identify you personally. It is statistical data. This statistical data does not identify any personal details.
